Mike Ditka Resorts Walks to Empower!

Join Mike Ditka Resorts this Mother’s Day as we ‘Walk to Empower’ during Chicago’s breast cancer walk. The walk will take place in Grant Park at Butler Field on May 9th, 2010. Check in for the walk is at 6:30 a.m. with a start time of 8:00 a.m. Participants can partake in either the 1 mile walk, 3 mile walk, or United 5K run.

This year will mark that 19th year that the Breast Cancer Network of Strength’s Walk to Empower has been promoting its mission to ensure that through information, empowerment, and peer support that no woman will ever have to face breast cancer alone.

This year’s event will not only be hosted in Chicago but in a total of 13 cities across the US with over 50,000 participants in attendance!

Mike Ditka Resorts Annual Celebrity Golf Outing Announces Their Musical Entertainment!

Mike Ditka Resorts is extremely excited to have the band Dance Hot on board as the musical entertainment at Mike Ditka Resorts Annual Celebrity Golf Outing on April 17th, 2010!

After an eventful day of golf at Mystic Dunes Golf Club and relaxing spa services provided by Select Massage, guests will be invited to join their favorite celebrities for a night of fun while enjoying the sensational, Orlando favorite band, Dance Hot.

Dance Hot will be playing a variety of songs that will be sure to appeal to everyone’s musical preferences during Saturday’s hors d’ oeuvres and cocktail reception from 7 pm until 1 am.

During the night’s reception, guests will also be able to bid on items in both the silent and live auctions, and will be invited to attend an awards ceremony hosted by Mike Ditka, who will be honoring the day’s best golfers as well as the event’s top contributors and sponsors to the Gridiron Greats Foundation.

Mike Ditka Resorts is seeking donations for both their silent and live auctions during Mike Ditka Resorts 2nd Annual Celebrity Golf Outing taking place in Kissimmee, Florida on April 16th – 18th, 2010.

Mike Ditka Resorts and Coach Ditka are teaming up to raise money for the Gridiron Greats Assistance Fund during this event. The Gridiron Greats is a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance, social services, and medical care to retired NFL players in dire need. The organization focuses on the humanitarian side of post-football related issues, providing hands-on assistance to help retired players deal with hardships, should they arise.
