Quick Tips for Your Next Florida Vacation

Packing
· For younger kids, put their shirt, pants, socks, and underwear together in a Ziploc bag- it makes choosing what to wear much easier!

· Don't forget to bring your camera, as well as your charger and an extra memory card. Florida is filled with many photo opportunities you will not want to miss.

Traveling
· Make a stop at your local dollar store before your trip and buy some cheap toys, coloring books, books, etc and use them as rewards or entertainment during your travels. Offer the new toys in increments that will last you the length of your trip. It's a lot of fun, and they have all new stuff to use on their vacation.

At Your Destination
· Plan on spending time at the theme parks? Walk to the furthest point from the entrance and work your way back to avoid the lines. If the ride/show has two lines choose the left. Most people automatically go to the right.

· Take advantage of the free transportation offered by many hotels to nearby attractions like the Disney Theme Parks.

· Take a break from the heat and the crowds by enjoying lunch in your room. Plus the fact that you are on vacation and not in your own kitchen, will add a level of fun to the experience and it will save you money.

· Enjoy local culinary favorites like key lime pie, stone crabs, and conch fritters.
