Check out The Festival of Lights Parade

If you are visiting Mike Ditka Resorts this weekend, you will want to check out the Festival of Lights Parade in downtown Kissimmee on Saturday, December 13th. The parade will begin at 6pm and will feature ‘Scott & Erica’ from the Morning Show on Mix 105.1 and, of course, Santa Claus!

Plus, if you arrive early, you can visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Santa’s Social from 4pm to 6pm at Toho Square. Admission to Santa’s Social and the parade is free and preferred parking is available at the Kissimmee Civic Center for a small fee.

All the proceeds raised from the parade will support the Terry Stewart Memorial Scholarship Program, which goes to benefit youth that would otherwise not have the means to participate in local athletic and recreation programs.

Watch the Snow Fall in Florida

Never thought you’d see snow in sunny Florida? Well now you can during ‘Now Snowing’ in Celebration, FL! ‘Now Snowing’, Central Florida’s original and premier “Snowing” event will be offer nightly snow falls at 6, 7, 8 and 9pm. Children can also have their photo taken with Santa, enjoy strolling holiday carolers, take a horse drawn carriage ride, or take a ride on the Celebration Express train and skate around the town’s ice rink!

The ice rink will open daily from 4-10pm through January 2nd. Be sure to ask about Resident Skate Passes or multiple-day skate passes for guests.
