Mike Ditka Resorts would like to introduce our new General Manager, Tatiana Vanvelzor. Tatiana has been a great asset to our team thus far, and we are excited to have her on board.

Wine & Cheese
Take part in Mike Ditka Resorts Wine & Cheese Reception every Friday afternoon at 4pm in the lobby of Mike Ditka Resorts – Runaway Beach Club. Mingle with other guests, as you relax and enjoy a complimentary glass of wine.
Guest Surveys
While you’re here, please take a few minutes and fill out our new Guest Survey. The survey can be found in your villa and asks such questions such as “What was your favorite part about your stay?” and “Do you have any suggestions that would make your stay with us next time more enjoyable?”.
Our goal at Mike Ditka Resorts is to make your stay as fun and pleasurable as possible, so we would love to hear your feedback! Plus, if you turn your survey in to the front desk, you’ll receive a special gift!
Ice Cream Socials
Mike Ditka Resorts – Runaway Beach Club has been hosting Ice Cream Socials every Saturday, where guests can make their own sundaes for only $5.00. At the end of the summer, all proceeds raised during our Ice Cream Socials will go to benefit the Give Kids The World Foundation.
Can’t stop by to make your own ice cream sundae? Why not donate a ‘Scoop of Hope’ to Give Kids The World! You can donate at the front desk of Mike Ditka Resorts – Runaway Beach Club where a token of your donation, shaped like an ice cream cone, will be displayed for all guests to see! Plus, you’ll be helping out a great cause!
Give Kids The World is a non-profit resort in Central Florida that makes dreams come true for children with life threatening illnesses and their families. The Give Kids The World program provides these children and their families with weeklong, worry free vacations that include everything from travel, accommodations at the resort, meals, donated tickets to attractions and much more!

Father’s Day Contest Winner
Thank you to everyone who submitted entries to our Father’s Day Contest. We received many wonderful, heartfelt entries making it very tough to pick just one dad, as we could see just how much each of our entrant’s fathers meant to them.
Congratulations to Charlie, whose fiancé Lauren wrote to Mike Ditka Resorts about why he deserved to win a weekend getaway at Mike Ditka Resorts. We, at Mike Ditka Resorts, were very touched by Lauren’s story and completely agree that he deserves a weekend getaway to Mike Ditka Resorts!

With everyone’s schedules so busy these days, Mike Ditka Resorts has found yet another way to make your stay a little more relaxing. By adding grocery services to the list of amenities, Mike Ditka Resorts gives you one less thing you worry about when planning your visit.
They offer everything from breakfast to dinner to snacks in between, including things like cereal & milk, to ground beef & hamburger buns.
All you have to do is visit the Mike Ditka Resorts Grocery Service page and request what items you will need and the quantity of each, 48 hours before your arrival. By doing so, all your ordered items will all be waiting in your room for you by the time you arrive. At Mike Ditka Resorts, the full-size/fully equipped kitchens include everything from a fridge & stove, to utensils & dishes, so all your meal needs are sure to be met.

This past weekend Mike Ditka Resorts held its first Ice Cream Social where children and adults alike had a great time topping their own sundaes! All the proceeds raised during Mike Ditka Resort’s Ice Cream Socials will benefit the Give Kids The World Foundation, which is a non-profit resort in Central Florida that makes magical memories come true for children with life threatening illnesses.
The Give Kids The World program provides these children & their families with weeklong, completely cost free, vacations that include everything from travel, private accommodations at the resort, meals, donated tickets to Disney along with other local attractions, and much, much more!
It literally is a dream come true for these kids & their families!
This summer, Mike Ditka Resorts is proud to help raise money & awareness for this amazing cause by holding ice cream socials EVERY Saturday, all the way through July, when the Resort will take part in the "Ice Cream for Breakfast" event being held Nationwide!
"Ice Cream for Breakfast" is a national awareness & fundraising campaign dedicated to raising money and awareness for Give Kids The World. With the assistance of Mike Ditka Resorts, & other great sponsors, Give Kids The World is hoping to create the biggest ice cream social ever this July with its "Ice Cream for Breakfast" nationwide event!
